

Exorcism in the Bible: There are numerous mentions of exorcism in the Bible (primarily the New Testament) performed by Jesus and his disciples.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Luke 11:20
But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Matthew 12:22
Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw.
Acts 19:12
So that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.
Acts 8:7
For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
