A Spanish exorcist with a great deal to say – Father Jose Antonio Fortea is a highly respected demonologist and expert on demonic possession. In this excerpt, he describes the ways one can tell if a demonic possession is at hand: http://bit.ly/cOuw0d
Mammon is the demon of greed and materialism – he wants everything for himself and nothing for anyone else. He will cause people to steal, to cheat, to hurt those around them in his quest to take everything he can.
Signs: those possessed by Mammon will often have scratches, like claw marks on their back, that combine to form occult symbols. Their breath will be foul, with the smell of rotting meat, and their finger and toenails will often turn yellow and crack.
An incredible account of a possessed man in England – seems to be a clear case in my opinion. Trustworthy witnesses and the subject himself who was possessed seems highly believable to me. Fascinating: http://bit.ly/9mTuTR
Amazing but true – the reporter is not a believer but the story is still quite fair, no one who believes is painted as a wacko. The signs of possession described in this piece line up with everything I’ve seen in two decades of experience…. check it out here:
Matthew 10:1 …And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.
We learn that Jesus had the ability to give his disciples power over unclean spirits, or demons as I call them. I’ve always taken this line to mean that he gave me that power as well, that every true exorcist is an extended member of his band of disciples.
Amon is the demon of rage and violence. It is fire and destruction he wishes to rain on the good and innocent. He can drive peaceful, kind people to rage against any perceived affront and to become violent at the drop of a hat.
Signs: those afflicted with Amon will have a purple, swollen tongue. In addition to being enraged, they will shriek at an extremely high volume. Their pupils can turn the color of blood. They will tend to cut or tear at their own flesh if given the chance – keep all sharp implements away from them.
